M.R.P.S. Social Hall - 133 North Grant Avenue - Manteca, CA  95336
There are Pentecost societies like the M.R.P.S., commonly called "Portuguese Halls", located throughout the United States.  Early Portuguese immigrants, the majority of which became naturalized American citizens, wanted their children to understand and blend their Portuguese heritage into the American way of life.  Within organizations like the M.R.P.S., they could ensure their children’s participation by sponsoring cultural events, as well as extending social fellowship to the local community.

The public is always welcome to attend the MRPS Holy Ghost celebration (festa) in June and the hall-hosted dinners and dances. Families are especially encouraged to attend the numerous children-oriented functions.  M.R.P.S. membership is open to anyone who wishes to participate in an organization that appreciates family, faith, and diversity.

If you have further questions about the M.R.P.S. and our activities, please email us at mrpshall@yahoo.com
